Our Industrial Security team in Arlington, VA, is presently seeking an Industrial Security Specialist to join the team.
Job Summary:
This is a multi-faceted Industrial Security Specialist position working within a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. The candidate will help develop, administer, and maintain a comprehensive security program in accordance with the 32 CFR Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual Rule.
What You Will Do:
- Maintain classified document control/accountability of classified media shipped and received.
- Visitor Access Control, Personnel Security, and Security Education
- Perform various employee in-processing/out-processing security briefings/debriefings.
- Update security personnel access lists and databases accordingly.
- Prepare and participate in semi-annual and yearly audits and inspections.
- Assist with the implementation of local Standard Operating procedures (SOP), and Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans.
- Participate in a team environment to develop, update, and implement security policies and procedures in coordination with the company policies and government regulations.
- Conduct administrative inquiries related to possible security incidents and document results.
- You must hold a current Secret Clearance and be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree OR in absence of a degree, four (4) years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience or knowledge of 32 CFR 117, DoD 5220.22-M (NISPOM) and ISLs.
- Experience with processing classified shipments and accountability of classified assets.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

- Experience in conducting Security Investigations/Administrative Inquiries and interviewing employees for security infractions/violations.

The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
