M&J is seeking a Digital Delivery Coordinator / CADD Designer to support the continued growth of our Transportation & Infrastructure practice in Texas. This position is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys both project production and process improvement. The successful candidate will support the delivery of transportation, bridge, structural, and municipal infrastructure projects while helping establish digital delivery standards, workflows, and best practices within a growing engineering team. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects throughout Texas while helping shape the systems, standards, and workflows that support successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

Project Delivery Support

• Prepare engineering plans, exhibits, details, and construction documents for transportation, bridge, structural, and municipal infrastructure projects.
• Develop and maintain plan production workflows using AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and OpenRoads Designer.
• Support engineers and project managers with design development, drafting, quantity calculations, and deliverable preparation.
• Coordinate with internal and external project teams to maintain consistency across project deliverables.
• Assist with project setup, file management, sheet development, plotting, and electronic submissions.

Digital Delivery Support

• Assist in developing and maintaining CAD standards, templates, seed files, and drafting procedures.
• Support implementation of quality control processes related to plan production and digital delivery.
• Provide technical support and guidance regarding production workflows and software tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve consistency, efficiency, and overall project delivery quality.

Team Development

• Support onboarding and mentoring of future production staff.
• Assist with documenting production standards and best practices.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the firm's transportation and infrastructure delivery capabilities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting transportation, civil, structural, or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with:
• AutoCAD
• Civil 3D
• MicroStation
• Experience preparing engineering plans and technical exhibits.
• Working knowledge of engineering drawing standards and plan production workflows.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
• Experience supporting TxDOT projects.
• Experience with ProjectWise.
• Experience with bridge, roadway, drainage, or municipal infrastructure projects.
• Experience developing CAD standards, templates, or production procedures.
• Bluebeam Revu proficiency.
• GIS experience.
