Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Digital Access Monitoring in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will use communication and customer service skills to help address security-related concerns while contributing to routine site operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly documenting and reporting relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate access control records, issue and retrieve visitor badges and keys as authorized, and communicate professionally with site personnel and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
