The Physical Security team is committed to maintaining a secure environment for the facility and its associates. They develop and enforce security protocols, emergency response plans, and training programs. The team manages incident and crisis situations with tactical responses, collaborates with internal and external partners, and ensures compliance with regulatory and corporate policies. Focused on continuous improvement, integrity, and teamwork, they effectively address threats while supporting a safe workplace. Their efforts protect people, assets, and information with professionalism and dedication to upholding high security standards.
What you'll do:

• Support development and implementation of security protocols, programs, and training to enhance safety and compliance.
• Respond to emergency situations by initiating incident command and providing tactical responses to life safety events.
• Implement and monitor security systems, including alarm and intrusion detection, ensuring timely and effective threat management.
• Investigate security breaches, policy violations, and reported threats, assisting with mitigation and resolution efforts.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate policies related to safety, security, and facility standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to promote a secure working environment and deliver exceptional service.
• Manage priorities and communicate progress while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience in physical security operations, including emergency and incident response.
• Strong knowledge of crisis management and threat management protocols.
• Ability to implement and improve security systems and standard operating procedures.
• Skilled in tactical response to life safety events such as active shooter, fire, and severe weather incidents.
• Experience conducting investigations related to security breaches and policy violations.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements including OSHA, PCI, and fire safety codes.
• Effective collaboration with internal teams and external agencies to maintain a safe environment.
• Commitment to integrity, ethical standards, and continuous improvement in security practices.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Will complete and pass all core components of the Physical Security Specialist Training Academy within 90 days of job entry date and will maintain them while employed in this position. 1 year experience in security, law enforcement, military, emergency services or related field.
