CNC Programmer | Davisburg, MI

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00/hour
Schedule: 7 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday

Job Impulse is hiring an experienced CNC Programmer to support precision machining operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys solving machining challenges, improving processes, and creating efficient CNC programs that directly impact quality and production performance.

You’ll work closely with machinists and engineering to develop and optimize programs using Mastercam, support new part launches, and help keep production running efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam

• Develop toolpaths for CNC milling and turning operations

• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T

• Select tooling, cutting parameters, and machining strategies for efficient production

• Troubleshoot and improve existing CNC programs

• Identify opportunities to reduce cycle times and improve productivity

• Support machine setups and first-piece inspections

• Verify part quality using precision measuring equipment

• Maintain organized CNC program documentation and revisions

• Partner with engineering and production teams to solve machining and manufacturing challenges

• Follow established safety and quality standards

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong working knowledge of Mastercam

• Experience programming CNC mills and/or lathes

• Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, and workholding

• Ability to confidently read blueprints and interpret GD&T

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail and organization

• Experience with Haas or Fanuc controls is a plus
