Description
Are you passionate about driving clinical excellence and transforming the standard of chronic and renal care on a national scale?
At Fresenius Medical Care, we are looking for a visionary and strategic Country Nursing and Quality Manager. You will serve as specialized senior leadership for nursing governance, patient safety, and high-quality chronic disease management with a core focus on renal care and dialysis. You will lead an integrated team and collaborate closely with country leadership to ensure every clinic delivers a safe, efficient, and patient-centered model of specialized care.
What You Will Do in This Role:
- Strategic & Team Leadership: Define, set, and drive the national Nursing and Quality strategy for chronic disease and renal operations, guiding Clinic Head Nurses and Regional Quality Managers. You will act as the senior clinical voice at the country management level.
- Specialized Renal & Chronic Governance: Establish nursing policies, standards of practice, and optimized care pathways specifically tailored to chronic disease, dialysis treatments, and nephrology care.
- Quality Management System: Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the CDI quality management system, ensuring the smooth integration of local and international regulatory requirements for dialysis services.
- Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Foster a strong culture of compliance with health authority, professional, and occupational safety regulations. Lead root-cause analysis and corrective and preventive action processes specific to clinical operations.
- Audits & Patient Safety: Plan and coordinate internal audits across the clinic network, monitoring key indicators for infection control, dialysis safety, significant incidents, and high-risk chronic care topics.
- Clinical Training & Education: Shape national priorities for clinical training in nephrology and chronic disease management, ensuring robust onboarding, continuous professional development, and rigorous competency assessments for nursing staff.
- Cross-Functional & Management Projects: Partner with the Country Medical Director and Operations leaders to drive clinical improvement projects, connecting specialized nursing and quality priorities with sustainable clinic performance.
What We Are Looking For:
- Specialized Clinical Background: Extensive nursing leadership experience with a strong background in chronic disease, ideally specializing in renal care and dialysis.
- Solid Management Track Record: Proven track record in senior nursing leadership and quality management, ideally within multi-site healthcare networks, private healthcare, or major dialysis operations.
- Matrix Environment Expertise: Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational structures, influence stakeholders, and lead through dotted lines.
- Regulatory & Process Rigor: Deep command of clinical governance, quality audits, risk mitigation frameworks, and continuous improvement methodologies (CAPA/RCA).
- Inspiring Leadership: Strong ability to build high-performing teams, foster accountability, and develop specialized clinical talent.
