Are you an organized, friendly, and service-oriented individual with a passion for books and learning? We are seeking a dedicated Library Assistant to support the smooth operation of the school library while assisting students and staff in accessing resources and developing a positive reading and learning environment.
Applicants should possess:
- Relevant qualification in Library Science, Information Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a school library or similar environment will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of library procedures, cataloguing, and resource management.
- Ability to assist students and staff in locating and using library resources.
- Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure books and resources are properly arranged.
