Additionally, you will define and coordinate all technical actions required for developing and launching new dielectric models, ensuring their technical viability, client satisfaction, and business profitability. You will also act as a key technical advisor for international clients and the commercial department.

Control the reception of key raw materials such as dielectrics, hardware, and cement. Supervise laboratory staff, and lead internal, external, and customer technical audits.

  • Product Development & Innovation: centralize technical requirements for new models, performing viability studies and coordinating all development phases including design, component modification, mold purchasing, and assembly monitoring. Provide technical assistance to Production to ensure target quality and yield indices, and lead innovation projects for product improvement.

  • Commercial & Supplier Support: analyze supplier offers based on cost, quality, and lead times. Collaborate with the technical-commercial service in symposiums, direct customer advisory, and resolving technical claims on power lines.

Requirements:

  • Experience

    • Solid and consolidated 5+ years experience in technical laboratory management, quality control, or product engineering within the electrical components, high-voltage, or heavy materials manufacturing industries.

    • Proven track record of directing and executing technical tests in laboratory environments, specifically acting as a formally qualified worker for high-voltage testing.

    • Demonstrated capability in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing the entire lifecycle of product development—from initial technical viability studies and design phases to mass production and quality homologation.

    • Extensive experience preparing for and managing customer audits, as well as coordinating internal and external quality audits.

    • Strong background in B2B technical advisory, supporting commercial departments during international technical symposiums, and providing direct support to clients regarding product specifications and power line claims.

  • Education

    • University Degree or higher in a Technical or Engineering field (such as Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Industrial Engineering).

    • Mandatory safety and technical certifications: You must hold specific training in high-voltage installations and high-voltage testing techniques.

    • Must possess up-to-date first aid and defibrillator (AED) usage certifications.

    • Deep understanding of quality management systems, laboratory operations, and international standardization norms (specifically the IEC 60383 testing standard for insulators/dielectrics).
