Network Engineer NetOps Larnaca

As Network Engineer NetOps, you will be involved in new networking projects and will support, develop and optimise a growing, globally distributed, high performance network infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and expand the network across multiple data centres, covering routing, switching, firewalls and customer connectivity, following the standards set by the Network Team Lead
• Run day to day network operations: monitor traffic and device health, resolve incidents and identify recurring issues early
• Configure and maintain BGP sessions, transit, peering and cross connects, and handle customer onboarding for dedicated, colocation and cloud services
• Implement and maintain firewall rules, ACLs, DDoS mitigation and access controls, and take part in vulnerability reviews
• Work with systems, support and sales teams on customer network requirements, including latency sensitive trading workloads
• Maintain accurate network records: configurations, topology diagrams, IP allocations and runbooks
• Propose improvements, automation and new tooling
• Cover for the Network Team Lead during absences and take part in the on call rotation
• Support audits and compliance, including ISO 27001, through change control and configuration reviews

Your Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of proven network engineering experience, configuring and managing network devices hands on
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and firewall configuration
• Hands on experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, and analysing logs and metrics
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to diagnose complex network issues
• Strong verbal and written English, comfortable with non technical teams
• Able to work independently and collaboratively, handling multiple projects

Nice to Have

• CCNA, CCNP or equivalent, highly desirable
• Cloud networking (AWS, Azure) or cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CEH)
• SD WAN, cloud networking and automation tools

Salary and Benefits

• EUR 1,300 to 1,800 gross per month
• 13th salary
