Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Clinical Trial Coordinator (Finance) to support financial and site payment activities across clinical studies. This role will be responsible for managing site budgets and patient reimbursement processes, coordinating contract documentation, and ensuring timely reconciliation of invoices and automated payments.
The ideal candidate will bring strong financial and administrative skills, experience within clinical research or healthcare environments, and the ability to collaborate effectively with investigative sites, internal stakeholders, and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development, review, and processing of site budgets related to clinical trial activities.
- Manage patient reimbursement activities, including expense review and travel reimbursement analysis.
- Prepare, distribute, and track essential study documents such as site contracts, budget agreements, and contract amendments for execution.
- Monitor contract and document signature status, ensuring timely follow-up with investigative sites.
- Coordinate invoice reconciliation activities and resolve payment discrepancies as needed.
- Support automated payment processes and ensure accurate financial records are maintained.
- Track and maintain financial documentation in applicable clinical trial systems.
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Site Management, Finance, and external partners to support study payment activities.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, study-specific requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Assist with financial reporting and provide updates regarding budget and payment status.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Completed job training in Office Management, Administration, Finance, Healthcare, or a related field; or
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Clinical Research or relevant Healthcare environments.
- Experience supporting clinical trial financial processes, site payments, budgets, contracts, or reimbursement activities preferred.
- Familiarity with clinical trial site contracts, amendments, and payment workflows.
- Experience reviewing invoices, budget reconciliation, and financial documentation.
