Job Title: Moms & More Children’s Classroom Aide
Reports To: Moms & More Children’s Lead
Job Overview:
Gateway Church is seeking an energetic, compassionate and loving individual for the Children’s Department of Moms & More. The ideal candidate will be reliable and be able to handle all areas of childcare work.

- Job Status: Part-time, September – May
- Job Schedule: 3 hrs/wk (Thursdays)
- Work Location: In-person, Gateway Church
- Salary: $17.13/hr

Minimum Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. Applicants aged 16 or 17 must be eligible for employment under Washington State minor work requirements, including obtaining all required parent and school authorization before beginning employment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Attend the August training session, or another training if joining after August, to prepare for the upcoming season.
- Complete the Gateway Kids Training Program regarding childcare policies and safety.
- Arrive each Thursday by 9:15 AM for prayer. Be ready with a smile as the first child arrives.
- Follow the schedule set by the Classroom Lead.
- Supervise children as they play, helping keep order. Distract crying or upset children.
- Remain positive and encouraging, reporting any incidents or accidents to the Classroom Lead.
- Work together as a team, keeping speech and attitude appropriate and focused on the children.
- Stay until the classroom is clean and the Classroom Lead dismisses you.
- If you cannot attend your scheduled shift, inform the Coordinator as soon as possible.
- Keep CPR training up to date.
