Job Summary:
As an Installation Support Tech, you will provide technical support at any of our brick and mortar, mobile, or on-site locations at an OEM prestige motor manufacturer in Solihull.The right person will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Be a proactive problem solver and strives to be an integral part of the team and the success of the company. There is a 90-day probationary period. Career progression opportunities available.
Core Duties
- Move vehicles around installation facility
- Organize and keep tidy install bays
- Keep installation bays stocked with supplies and parts
- Prepare parts for application
- Assist installers with finalizing installation
- Clean/wipe down vehicles to prepare them for application and delivery
- Assist the team with day-to-day tasks
- Perform final quality inspections on outgoing vehicles
Basic Qualifications
- Must have a current and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must have a reliable mode of transportation and the ability to be on time
- Ability to comfortably and safely drive high-end vehicles
- Must work well with others and have good team building skills
- Must be able to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Adherence to deadlines
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity
- Must be able to lift 45 lbs.
- Must be able to kneel and bend for quality checking
- Overtime / working in shifts may be required
Full-time, Permanent
Shift Requirement:
This position requires working in a rotating shift schedule.
- Morning Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Shifts will rotate every two weeks. Flexibility to work both shifts is essential.
Salary: £31.200,00 / annual
