• Render direct and indirect nursing care in accordance with your scope of licensure, the California Nurse Practice Act, and MMC policies and procedures
• Assess patient needs, establish and implement problem-oriented care plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
• Provide immediate direction to nursing care team members to ensure the appropriate delivery of services
• Adhere to the specific age populations and clinical competencies outlined in your unit’s Orientation and Initial Assessment checklists, which serve as an extension of this job description

Job Requirements

 Required

 

• Registered Nurse: CA 
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - CPR 
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), within six (6) months

 

Preferred

• One (1) year previous pediatric or acute care experience 
• Bilingual

 

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.  This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
