As a Business Analytics Lead within PNC's ECO organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, or Birmingham, AL.

•Serves as a senior individual contributor and subject-matter expert responsible for leading complex business analytics, AI-enabled insight generation, bot automation, and data-driven solution design across multiple functions or business units. Provides technical leadership, consultative guidance, and mentorship while partnering with business leaders, project teams, developers, risk partners, and end-users to identify opportunities, define requirements, and deliver scalable analytical and automation solutions.

•Applies advanced SQL, Python, data visualization, data warehousing, and automation capabilities to analyze large datasets, improve reporting processes, enhance data quality, and enable faster, more accurate business decisions. Recommends analytic and automation approaches, supports implementation and continuous improvement, and communicates complex findings, risks, and recommendations to senior management and cross-functional audiences.

Responsibilities:
1. Senior Analytics Expertise
Serve as a senior subject-matter expert for complex analytics, data modeling, reporting, process analysis, and business intelligence solutions across multiple functions or business units.
2. AI and Automation Solution Leadership
Identify, evaluate, and support opportunities to apply AI-enabled analytics, bot automation, workflow automation, and scripting to improve operational efficiency, data quality, and decision-making.
3. Technical Solution Ownership
Lead the design, development, testing, implementation, and enhancement of analytical solutions, dashboards, automated reporting processes, and bot-supported workflows.
4. Strategic Stakeholder Consultation
Partner with business leaders, project managers, developers, and end-users to clarify objectives, define requirements, assess options, and recommend scalable solutions aligned to business priorities.
5. Mentorship Without Direct Management
Mentor junior analysts and team members by providing technical guidance, reviewing analytical approaches, sharing best practices, and supporting adoption of new tools and methods.
6. Standards and Best Practices
Establish and promote standards for documentation, data governance, process mapping, quality controls, automation readiness, and sustainable analytics solution design.
7. Executive-Level Communication
Translate complex analytical results, automation outcomes, AI-enabled insights, risks, and recommendations into clear business narratives for senior management and cross-functional audiences.
8. Continuous Innovation
Stay current on emerging analytics, AI, automation, and business intelligence trends; proactively recommend practical use cases that improve productivity, accuracy, scalability, and user experience.

Job Description

  • Leads the analytics processes across multiple functions or business units leveraging an array of complex analytical tools to create data driven solutions. Serves as mentor to more junior employees.
  • Consults with clients and mentors consultants on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development.
  • Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation and enhancements.
  • Assists peers with guidance on analytic approaches related to more complex solutions.
  • Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solutions for business leadership to enable data driven decision making.
  • Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.
