OVERVIEW
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Manager, Client Segments Strategy & Execution to lead growth, engagement, and client experience strategies across two priority client segments, including the Canadian Defence Community (CDC). In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing segment strategies that drive acquisition, deepen client relationships, and accelerate business growth. By leveraging client insights, strategic partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration, you will shape differentiated value propositions and client experiences while leading initiatives that deliver measurable client and business outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in client strategy and segment management, with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across complex organizational environments. You will excel in analytical and financial acumen, translating insights into actionable investment decisions and business plans. Your exceptional communication and program execution skills will be critical in leading large-scale initiatives and driving alignment across various teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the strategic roadmap and growth plan for assigned client segments, driving acquisition, engagement, retention, share of wallet, and overall business performance.
- Serve as the enterprise subject matter expert for assigned segments, leveraging client, market, and competitive insights to shape differentiated value propositions, experiences, and long-term growth strategies.
- Champion a client-centric strategy by leveraging client, market, and performance insights to identify opportunities, inform investment decisions, and drive segment growth.
- Lead the design and delivery of differentiated client experiences, partnering across the enterprise to improve satisfaction, loyalty, and financial outcomes.
- Lead the development and execution of complex segment initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, business objectives, and client outcomes.
- Drive delivery excellence through effective governance, cross-functional leadership, risk management, and continuous performance improvement.
- Own segment performance management, leveraging analytics and key business metrics to assess results, optimize investments, and inform strategic decisions.
- Deliver actionable insights, executive reporting, and business cases that translate complex data into clear recommendations and measurable outcomes.
- Develop and execute strategic partnership initiatives that advance business objectives, strengthen segment presence, and create mutual value.
- Build and manage senior relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders, influencing alignment, investment, and support for strategic priorities.
- Own and manage segment budgets, investments, and resource allocation to maximize client, business, and partnership value.
- Develop business cases, monitor financial performance, and optimize spending to support growth objectives and return on investment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8-10+ years of experience in client strategy, segment management, partnerships, business development, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and executing growth strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Experience leading strategic partnerships and influencing senior stakeholders across complex organizational environments.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and financial acumen, with the ability to translate insights into investment decisions and business plans.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives and driving alignment through influence.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and program execution skills.
