Australian Venue Co is looking for enthusiastic and hands-on Duty Managers to join our team across our iconic Darwin venues.
Whether you're an experienced Duty Manager or a hospitality supervisor ready to take the next step, we have opportunities across our Darwin venues to suit different levels of leadership experience.
Our venues are known for their vibrant atmosphere, busy bars, quality food offering, gaming, live entertainment and late-night trade. From bustling lunch services and major sporting events to live music and late-night crowds, no two shifts are the same. What You'll Be Doing
- Leading day-to-day venue operations across food, beverage and gaming.
- Delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining high service standards.
- Coaching, developing and motivating front-of-house teams.
- Opening and closing the venue, including late-night trading where required.
- Supporting labour management, venue presentation and operational compliance.
- Managing cash handling, end-of-day reconciliation and venue reporting.
- Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally.
- Working closely with the Venue Manager to drive operational success.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Duty Manager, Supervisor or similar hospitality leadership role.
- At least 1-2 years' hospitality experience in a fast-paced food and beverage environment.
- Strong bar and customer service experience with the confidence to lead busy service periods.
- Experience in late-night venues, gaming operations or high-volume bars will be highly regarded.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and the drive to build a long-term career.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and confidence making decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and late-night closes (where required).
- Current NT RSA certificate.
- Current NT Gaming Machine Licence is highly regarded (or willingness to obtain).
