Remote Clinical Product Trainer & Coordinator

This is a Remote Based role.

You can work from home but will need to have access to transport for team meetings.

Salary range £45,000-55,000 + 10% bonus, pension and private health care.

We are looking for a passionate and organised Remote Clinical Product Trainer & Coordinator to join our growing International Clinical Education team. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your clinical knowledge, patient education expertise, and organisational skills while supporting healthcare professionals and patients across the UK.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As a Remote Clinical Product Trainer & Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering virtual training and education on Tandem diabetes management products to patients, healthcare professionals, and customers.

This role combines clinical education, customer support, and programme coordination. You will act as a trusted clinical resource, ensuring patients and healthcare professionals have the knowledge and confidence to successfully use Tandem products while coordinating the logistics and administration of Tandem's national remote training platform.

Working remotely, you'll collaborate with healthcare professionals, internal stakeholders, and patients to provide exceptional virtual training experiences and support positive patient outcomes.

YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE BY

Clinical Education & Training

  • Delivering virtual product training sessions for patients, healthcare professionals, and customers.
  • Providing education on Tandem insulin pump technology and related diabetes management solutions.
  • Conducting educational sessions that support safe and effective product use.
  • Acting as a clinical resource for patients and healthcare professionals throughout their training journey.
  • Supporting ongoing patient education and skills development.

Remote Training Coordination

  • Managing the coordination and logistics of Tandem's national remote training programme.
  • Scheduling and organising virtual training sessions efficiently and professionally.
  • Developing and improving processes that enhance the effectiveness and scalability of the remote onboarding platform.
  • Ensuring all training activities are completed and documented accurately and compliantly.

Healthcare Professional Engagement

  • Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Supporting healthcare providers with education on Tandem products and services.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive a seamless training experience.
  • Providing timely and professional responses to clinical training enquiries.

Clinical Support & Escalations

  • Handling clinical escalation calls and supporting the resolution of customer and patient issues.
  • Working closely with the Clinical Education Manager for advice on technical and clinical matters.
  • Sharing relevant clinical trends, insights, and feedback with colleagues and internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting continuous improvement of clinical education programmes and patient services.

Administration & Compliance

  • Maintaining accurate training records and customer interactions within CRM systems.
  • Preparing clinical reports and documentation as required.
  • Managing assigned company equipment and materials responsibly.
  • Ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
  • Managing expenses in line with corporate guidelines.

You're Awesome At:

Required Qualifications

  • Clinical background preferred, including Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Dietitian (RD), or equivalent healthcare qualification.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Professional registration preferred but not essential.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years' clinical diabetes experience.
  • Experience coordinating and delivering diabetes education programmes for patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Experience providing virtual or remote education and support is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with diabetes technologies is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to build strong relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, and referral sources.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to explain clinical and technical information clearly and confidently to different audiences.
  • Customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and adaptable in a changing environment.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience using CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively from a remote home office environment.
  • High levels of self-motivation, accountability, and professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain a secure and professional home-working environment.
  • Reliable internet connectivity and technical capability to deliver virtual training.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
