AirGas / Air Liquide is Hiring for a Rental Coordinator
Location: Maple Ridge, BC

Day shift and no weekends!
Job Summary:
As a Rental Coordinator, you will maintain a safe working environment while actively soliciting sales and assisting existing and potential customers. You will advise clients on necessary equipment, demonstrate product use, and prepare accurate quotes, orders, and rental documentation. Additionally, you will coordinate freight, transportation, and vendor purchases to support daily operations. Through effective administrative and customer support, you will ensure seamless service delivery and strong overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to Red-D-ARC Health & Safety guidelines.
Solicit sales with existing and potential customers and handle all associated documentation, quotes, and records.
Advise customers on required equipment, materials, and procedures for their projects.
Demonstrate the proper use of equipment.
Ensure complete and accurate documentation on all rental agreements.
Arrange freight and transportation logistics.
Assist with vendor purchases and procurement.
Prepare and send quotes and orders to clients in a timely manner.
Perform other duties as assigned to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s degree preferred).
Proven ability to guide, mentor, and lead associates.
Strong skills in delegation and effective follow-up.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions aligned with company policies and objectives.
Proactive and methodical approach to resolving conflicting goals and handling challenging situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of customer service experience in an industrial or rental equipment environment.
Sales experience in industrial/welding equipment rental or sales (ideally within construction, fabrication, or manufacturing sectors).
Working knowledge of positioning equipment, welding applications, and related machinery.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Proven track record of building strong relationships with customers and team members.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision.
Adaptability to manage changing priorities and solve work-related problems proactively.
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse personalities and backgrounds.
