About us: 

An exciting opportunity has become available within the Plant Production Support team at Airbus Broughton. 

Plant Production Support team is a team heavily involved in supporting the short and long term strategy of the plant. Our team is always at the forefront of promoting innovation and continuous improvement through forums and key project reviews.

We also act as the conscience of the plant by providing a monthly summary report of the business performance across a targeted balance score card. Our team is also responsible for the allocation of Capex funding which is utilised to fund new and exciting projects to drive our company into the future.

What you will be doing:

As a member of the team you will develop essential skills in organisation and communication. You will build a network of key stakeholders in the business across a variety of operational areas and support functions.

Key specific tasks in the role will include:      

  

• Support multi-functional reviews, where you will hear new and innovative ideas directly from the originator;
• Supporting project leaders to facilitate the growth and development of these ideas;
• Supporting Capex submissions process through application of funding to back new and innovative ideas;
• Chair monthly budget compliant reviews with the plant representatives and key stakeholders to monitor businesses performance across a wide portfolio of projects.
• Using digital solutions to enhance ways of working.

 

Requirements:

Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and competences:

• Studying towards a degree in Business Management, Finance, or Accounting;
• The ability to communicate effectively;
• The ability to collate robust and informative presentations;
• The confidence to chair key sessions and present accordingly;
• A strong interest in self-development;
• The desire to work in an open and trusting environment.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
