Member Service Representative (Teller) - Full-Time

Saco Valley Credit Union, recognized as a Best Place to Work in Maine every year from 2019 through 2026, is hiring a full-time Member Service Representative to support our Waterboro and Saco branches. You’ll work from the Waterboro branch at least twice a week, splitting your remaining time between the Waterboro and Saco branches to support operations based on business needs. 

In this role, you’ll be one of the friendly faces members count on for everyday banking, account support, digital banking help, and problem-solving. You’ll receive support from an experienced team while building skills that can help you grow within SVCU.

What You’ll Do

• Assist members with teller transactions and account questions
• Open accounts and help members with additional services
• Support online and mobile banking needs
• Resolve member issues with professionalism and care
• Work collaboratively with branch team members

Schedule & Benefits

• Monday-Friday schedule; occasional Saturdays with pay differential

Requirements

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• Six months to two years of similar or related experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfort using computers and learning new systems
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Work Environment

This role is based in a branch environment and involves assisting members in person, using a computer, and moving within the branch as needed. Frequent travel between the branches is required.
