Position Overview

Excellence Property Care Solutions Inc. is urgently seeking an experienced and dependable HVAC Technician to join our growing team as a 1099 Independent Contractor in the Columbus, GA (31901) area.

We are looking for individuals who can reliably service locations within a 50-mile radius of Columbus, GA, ensuring timely and efficient support for our clients throughout the region.

Candidates holding a valid General Contractor License will receive priority consideration.

Key Responsibilities

General Maintenance and Repairs
Perform a wide range of tasks, Especially HVAC including Plumbing, Electrical work, Drywall, Carpentry

Troubleshooting & Problem Solving
Accurately diagnose issues and implement effective solutions, from routine maintenance to complex repair challenges.

Timely Work Order Completion
Complete assigned work orders efficiently while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.

Quality & Professionalism
Deliver consistent, detail-oriented workmanship that reflects company standards and client expectations.

Safety Compliance
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.

Client Communication
Interact with clients professionally and courteously to ensure a positive service experience and customer satisfaction.

Tools & Transportation
Provide your own complete set of tools and maintain reliable transportation to travel to job sites within the service area.

Insurance Requirement
Carry general liability insurance (assistance available if needed).

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience as a General Handyman or in a related trade

• Strong skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting

• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service abilities

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (must service a 50-mile radius from Columbus, GA)

• Ownership of professional-grade tools for diverse repair and maintenance tasks

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• General Contractor License preferred and prioritized
