This is a Principal Specialist, Security position responsible for providing a range of security actions to support the Andover location in the areas of Document Control, Security Education and Awareness Training providing policy/process guidance, support security investigations and participate in the DGR process involving exports. In this capacity, the Security Principal Specialist reports directly to the Raytheon Andover Associate Director of Security.
What You Will Do
- Seasoned professional contributor may manage small projects or processes and have advanced knowledge expected of a Global Security Services individual contributor.
- Responsible for leading Andover Security Education and Training Awareness, face to face briefings.
- Work assignments of the Document Control function for receipt and dispatch of classified materials and responsible for conducting classified container security audits. Interpret company policies and government regulations and provide guidance and assistance to program and functional partners, prepare for and support DCSA and self inspection activities and ensure continuity and coverage of Document Control operations providing surge support.
- Plans, develops, and implements security programs to safeguard personnel, intellectual property and facilities.
- Assist in Andover Security investigations by interviewing employees; preparing and submitting adverse information reports; assist with investigations related to incidents involving no loss/compromise and closed areas left unsecured, submit government mandate suspicious contract reports (SCR) directly to the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency.
- Follow up, accountability, and communication to include leading, reviewing and reporting on progress related to the timely execution of projects and plans which have significant and long-lasting impact.
- Support Direct Commercial Sales Exports by coordinating directly with U.S. Designated Government Representative (DCSA); interface with Transportation Logistics, Global Trade and packaging for each export.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
- Investigative experience.
- Experience with receipt and dispatch requirements as it relates to shipments of classified Major End Items and other classified materials.
- Experience in public speaking and providing education and training.
- Experience with electronic card access control systems and CCTVs to aid in conducting investigations.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Bachelors degree with a major in Business, Criminal Justice, or related field
- Some supervisorial experience in security, law enforcement and/or military.
- Experience leading a team with a Community Service approach to security or law enforcement operations
- Active Secret DoD security clearance
- Experience creating a team environment and rallying a team around a common mission, vision and goals
- The ability to work effectively and comfortably with internal/external customers of all levels
- Knowledge of physical and electronic security protocols and equipment/systems
- Knowledge of the NISPOM.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
