Senior Manager - Liquidation Quality Review
Our Corporate Services team is looking for a Senior Manager - Liquidation Quality Review.
In this role, you will provide an independent review of complex and sensitive liquidation matters, ensuring consistency, quality and risk awareness across liquidation files. As a key point of expertise within the business, you will support operational teams, contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and standards, and help ensure high-quality service delivery throughout the liquidation lifecycle
Your role:
Performing quality reviews on sensitive liquidation matters, in complement to the review carried out by operational teams;
Reviewing liquidation reports before finalisation, with a focus on completeness, consistency, accuracy and alignment with internal standards;
Reviewing material transactions and key steps of the liquidation process, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with legal and tax requirements;
Assessing the quality and consistency of supporting documentation included in liquidation files;
Identifying sensitive matters, operational risks, documentation gaps or recurring issues, and proposing practical improvements;
Challenging operational teams constructively where information is incomplete, inconsistent or not aligned with expected standards;
Supporting the development, maintenance and consistent use of templates, checklists and review tools;
Providing guidance to operational teams on expected standards, best practices and documentation requirements;
Contributing to internal training and awareness on liquidation quality review expectations;
Preparing or contributing to management reporting on review findings, recurring points of attention and follow-up actions;
Liaising with internal stakeholders such as operational teams, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance and Management;
Acting as board member in liquidation companies and representative for certain liquidation mandates, where required.
Your profile:
You hold a university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field;
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in liquidation, fund administration, accounting, audit, corporate services or a similar role within the Luxembourg financial sector;
Strong experience in liquidation activities covering investment funds, SPVs, regulated and non-regulated structures, and complex fund or corporate structures;
Experience in quality review, oversight, audit, risk control or a senior review function would be considered an asset;
Strong technical knowledge of liquidation processes and related regulatory requirements; [
Fluent in English; any other European language would be considered an asset;
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to identify risks, inconsistencies and documentation gaps;
Sound judgement with the ability to challenge constructively and adopt a pragmatic, risk-based approach;
Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills;
Proactive mindset with a focus on quality, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
