Aviation Manpower Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dedicated, full-time Bookkeeping Accounts Control Specialist to join our Nashville team. Our business comprises multiple separate companies operating across several states, and we need a professional who takes genuine "felt ownership" of their work, maintaining our accounts with accuracy and pride.

About the Role

In this dynamic position, you will manage the books for various entities under our corporate umbrella. This requires the agility to transition quickly and efficiently between different accounting tasks and company ledgers. You will work with minimal supervision, meaning your detail-oriented nature and strong grasp of general accounting principles will be critical to your success.

Key Responsibilities

• Navigate, update, and maintain the financial records for multiple separate companies within our corporate portfolio.

• Transition seamlessly and efficiently between varied daily accounting tasks and distinct company ledgers.

• Demonstrate clear, professional written communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Undertake optional, occasional travel to our various stations for general site visits and location-specific training.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience is highly preferred.

• Technical Skills: Extensive, hands-on experience using QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel is strictly required.

• Core Knowledge: A strong, working understanding of general accounting principles is an absolute must.

• Work Style: Highly detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: Starting pay of $65,000 per year, with a scheduled increase to $70,000 following a positive 90-day review.
