What You'll Be Doing
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on ready mix plant equipment to maximize operational uptime.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems associated with plant operations.
- Inspect, maintain, and replace components including conveyors, mixers, motors, gearboxes, and related production equipment.
- Perform maintenance and repair work on ready mix concrete trucks as needed, including routine inspections and mechanical repairs.
- Partner with operations teams to support safe, reliable, and productive performance across multiple ready mix plant locations.
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established procedures.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and travel between multiple ready mix plant locations as needed.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and maintain a valid driver's license.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
