Job Brief
The Head of Marketing will own the marketing function at Wayvia, including demand generation, market positioning, product marketing, brand and communications, agency partnerships and budget management. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and leading a team, this role will be accountable for marketing-sourced pipeline, strategy, programs and execution.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Demand Generation and Pipeline — Own the programs that produce marketing-sourced pipeline.
- Market and Positioning Strategy — Form and defend a view of how the market is changing — buying behavior, pricing models, category definition — and get the business to act on it, working closely with Sales leadership.
- Product Marketing — Own positioning, launch and enablement across the product line, working as a counterpart to Product.
- Brand, Communications and Agencies — Own the brand, core messaging and all marketing communications, including the agency and PR relationships.
- Team Leadership — Lead and develop a team across product marketing, growth, brand and marketing operations.
- AI-Enabled Operating Model — Build marketing as a system, with AI agents doing real work in strategy, campaign execution and iteration.
- Customer Community — Stand up a marketing-led customer community — user groups and focus groups — that produces product input and references.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6+ years in a fast-growing B2B SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated ownership of demand generation.
- People management of a multi-function marketing team.
- Fluency with AI as an operating capability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Product marketing depth across launch and enablement.
- Commerce intelligence, retail media, martech or adtech experience.
- Institutional investor and board-level presentation experience.
- A category creation or thought-leadership track record.
- MBA or advanced degree.
