Job Description

As a Security Officer Personnel Screening in New Braunfels, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help create a welcoming, controlled environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and communicating professionally with employees and guests. Your visible presence and attention to detail will help deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Screen employees, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with access-control requirements, verifying credentials and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and prohibited-item screening processes; report unusual activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, access points, and the surrounding business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
