About the Role
As a leader within Dyson’s Global Retail and Commercial Systems IT organisation, you will own the strategy, delivery, and operational performance of IT services supporting retail and business operations across your region.
You will work in close partnership with global and regional stakeholders to shape and deliver technology solutions that enable store operations, enhance the customer experience, and support business growth. This role operates within a global matrix model, ensuring alignment to central standards while responding to local market needs.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Roadmap
• Help shape and support the execution of the Retail and Commercial Systems IT strategy and roadmap aligned to global priorities and business objectives
• Translate business demand into clear technology outcomes, ensuring scalability, resilience, and standardisation
• Input into Global C&C objectives and alignment with an Omnichannel vision.
• Help build critical relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners to assist with creating a multiyear strategies.
Service Delivery & Operations
• Own end-to-end IT service delivery across retail and commercial environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security
• Support ITSMO and the 24/7 Global Retail operation, including incident, problem, and change management, aligned to global service management standards
• Drive performance with vendors in the retail ande commercial spaces (e.g. service quality, performance to KPI) and develop continuous service improvement workstreams
Infrastructure & Site Enablement
• Lead the planning, delivery, and support of IT infrastructure across new and existing retail sites
• Ensure consistent deployment of core services, including networks (WAN/LAN), end-user computing, M365, and in-store technology
• Drive globalisation and standardisation of the Network Blueprint deployment
Risk, Security & Compliance
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across cyber security, physical security, and data protection
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, audits, and regulatory requirements
Vendor & Partner Management
• Establish and support strategic relationships with global and regional vendors and service partners
• Drive accountability for service delivery, cost, and performance through structured governance and SLAs
Governance & Investment
• Partner with C&C and OCIO PMO and finance teams to prioritise demand, secure funding, and deliver against agreed outcomes
• Ensure strong governance across programmes, resources, and delivery execution
Stakeholder Management
• Act as a trusted technology partner to business leaders, influencing decisions and shaping future capability
• Collaborate across global IT teams to ensure alignment, reuse, and consistency

About You
• Proven experience leading IT services or technology functions within a global, matrixed organisation
• Strong track record in Retail and Commercial Systems, ideally within multi-site or enterprise environments
• Skilled in business partnering, with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions
• Experienced in service delivery, and knowledge of operational support process, infrastructure, and programme execution
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and AI Tools in Enterprise
• Experience delivering IT capabilities across new site openings, rollouts, and transformations
• Demonstrated expertise in vendor selection, contract management, and supplier governance
• Strong understanding of ITIL-based practices
• Strong Agile practise and methodology knowledge
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate at both operational and executive levels
• Willingness to travel regionally and globally as required
