Overview
Symbria is currently seeking a PART TIME Rehab Therapy Tech/Aide to add to our growing Rehabilitation team to serve our clients at Cross Keys Village in New Oxford, PA a leading Continuing Care Retirement Community. Position Summary
Assist to make therapy sessions productive under the supervision of the physical therapist or physical therapist assistant, keep the therapy treatment area clean and organized, and perform administrative duties that facilitate the efficient functioning of the therapy department.

Responsibilities
- Provide assistance where needed in the rehabilitation department.
- File and copy documentation done by therapists in the department.
- Maintain forms and supplies needed within the department.
- Assist with patient transportation.
- Assist the Program Manager in projects that support the department.
- Submit billing information to Symbria Rehab.
Work Schedule
- Must be available in person Monday-Friday at least 4 to 5 hours each day for a total of 20-25 hours weekly. No weekends required. Either morning or afternoon start is acceptable.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures, may include extensive reading and frequently operates a computer
- Frequently communicates with patients, staff, and managment. Must be able to professionaly exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Must be able to withstand prolonged or consierable walking, standing, balancing, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, stooping, bending , kneeling, or crouching
- Must be able to complete a max assist patient transfer (75% employee, 25% patient) independently
- Must be able to otherwise position or transfer patients as well as supplies and equipment
- Must have sufficient visual acuity and hearing to perform required therapy skills
- Heavy work, exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Receive and demonstrate competence in administration of therapeutic exercise program outlined by the physical therapist.
- Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills with strong focus on customer service.
