Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Guest Arrival Screening in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will provide a welcoming presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. You will help maintain an organized lobby environment, assist tenants and guests, and respond professionally to routine concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients at a commercial real estate location by following site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Staff the front desk and greet visitors professionally, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Monitor building access points, cameras, alarms, and other assigned systems; report irregularities and access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with building management and emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain clear communication with tenants, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership, documenting daily activities, incidents, and service requests in required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
