Job Description

As a Transportation Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Care in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns. Requirements:

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

 

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, tenants, and personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of terminals, parking areas, roadways, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, restricted areas, and public spaces; verify credentials and report unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with airport operations, law enforcement, and emergency personnel as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and communications with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
