The Flamingo Resort & Spa is a mid-century marvel in The Valley of the Moon. The buildings, rendered with natural materials and iconic angular silhouettes, are the work of master architect Homer A. Rissman. Set on a 10-acre campus, it is an incomparable property for both its city access and sense of complete retreat.What you will have an opportunity to do:
As an Esthetician, you will provide elevated skincare treatments including facials, skin assessments, and hair removal services. You’ll be an integral part of creating an exceptional guest experience, focused on both results-driven skincare and luxury relaxation. A strong understanding of retail sales and the value of building a loyal local clientele is essential to success in this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet guests warmly and recommend appropriate treatments tailored to their skin needs.
- Perform personalized skin consultations and assessments.
- Deliver high-quality facials and specialized skincare services.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend retail products to support their skincare goals.
- Provide professional hair removal services (waxing, threading, chemical).
- Perform face and scalp massage, and facial extractions.
- Uphold the spa’s standards for cleanliness, professionalism, and guest care.
- Achieve daily individual sales goals, including service upgrades and retail product sales.
- Help foster a strong base of returning and local clientele through rapport, consistency, and exceptional service.
What are we looking for?
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Esthetician License in the State of California, with the city of Santa Rosa, and Sonoma County requirements
- Ideally, 3+ years of hands-on experience in a spa or resort environment.
- CPR certification preferred.
- Professional, polished, and personable with a guest-first mindset.
- Strong understanding of skincare techniques and the importance of at-home product use.
- Confident in driving retail sales and service rebooking.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to weekend and evening availability.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented yet able to work independently.
