What You'll Be Doing

Complete a variety of property maintenance, handyman repairs, HVAC service, troubleshooting, and improvement projects, including:

General Handyman & Property Maintenance Services:

• Drywall repair, patching, and wall restoration

• Interior and exterior repairs

• Door installation, adjustment, and repair

• Lock, handle, and hardware replacement

• Cabinet repairs and installation

• Shelving and mounting services

• Carpentry repairs

• Trim and molding repairs

• Painting and touch-up work

• Flooring repairs and minor installation

• Caulking and sealing

• Preventive property maintenance

• Punch list and make-ready services

Plumbing Maintenance Services:

• Faucet repair and replacement

• Toilet repair and installation

• Garbage disposal replacement

• Sink repairs

• Supply line replacement

• Minor leak repairs

• Drain clearing

• Plumbing fixture installation

Electrical Maintenance Services:

• Light fixture installation and replacement

• Ceiling fan installation

• Outlet and switch replacement

• GFCI troubleshooting

• Smoke detector installation

• Basic electrical diagnostics

• Appliance electrical connections

• Minor wiring repairs

HVAC Maintenance & Repair Services:

• Residential HVAC troubleshooting

• Air conditioning repair and maintenance

• Heating system troubleshooting

• Heat pump diagnostics and repairs

• Thermostat replacement and troubleshooting

• Capacitor and electrical component replacement

• Condenser and evaporator coil maintenance

• Air filter replacement

• Preventive HVAC maintenance

• Refrigerant diagnostics and leak troubleshooting

• HVAC system inspections

• Mini-split and central HVAC service experience is a plus

General Responsibilities:

• Diagnose repair issues and complete work independently

• Perform residential and commercial maintenance services

• Complete service calls professionally

• Take detailed job photos and notes

• Communicate professionally with customers

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Complete digital work orders accurately

Requirements:

• 2+ years of handyman, maintenance, HVAC, construction, or trade experience preferred

• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently

• Professional attitude and strong communication skills

• Valid driver's license

• Reliable vehicle

• Own basic professional tools

• Smartphone with internet access

• Ability to upload photos and complete digital work orders

• Willingness to travel within a 50-mile radius of Richmond, VA

• General liability insurance is a plus
