JOB SUMMARY

ONEOK is seeking a Pipeline Operator – Associate to support safe, reliable operations and maintenance activities for gas and/or liquids pipeline systems in the Williston, North Dakota area. This role will assist with hands-on field activities such as pipeline startup and shutdown, pigging, collecting liquids, locating and marking lines, patrolling and leak surveys, monitoring cathodic protection, maintaining equipment fluids and chemicals, and preparing operational, maintenance, and regulatory information.

The Pipeline Operator – Associate will be part of an on-site operations team supporting assets near the Williston Stateline Gathering location, with an expected reporting location at a new station approximately 30 minutes north of Williston. Candidates located in or near the Williston area are preferred, though reporting location flexibility may be considered within the existing team depending on candidate location and business needs.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who is safety-minded, dependable, trainable, and eager to learn pipeline operations from the ground up. The team is looking for a strong culture fit who can collaborate well with others, follow procedures, communicate effectively, prioritize assignments, and respond quickly and appropriately to operational or emergency situations. Prior exposure to natural gas or liquids operations, construction methods, pipeline maintenance, or related field work is helpful, but the ability and willingness to learn are especially important for success in this associate-level role.

This position is on-site in Williston, North Dakota, and may include travel to other locations within the assigned geographic region. Typical work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8 hour days with a rotating on call schedule. This position is typically on call for one week every 4-6 weeks. ONEOK offers a $1,500 monthly geographic allowance for this location, which is taxable as income.
