Large-Format Graphics Production Designer (ZR-722)

Horizon Tech is looking for a skilled professional to support a leading architectural graphics company that transforms commercial spaces for Fortune 500 clients. The company produces high-quality, print-ready graphics for custom wall coverings, decorative and security glass films, and building wraps. This is a hands-on production role where you'll transform concepts, brand assets, and site specifications into large-scale, installable, print-perfect files ready for in-house digital printing.

Key responsibilities:

• Produce print-ready files for wall coverings (murals, writable surfaces), glass films (decorative, security, gradient, distraction bands), and building wraps.
• Scale, tile, and panel artwork for large- and grand-format output — accounting for seams, overlaps, and substrate widths.
• Work from architectural drawings, field measurements, and templates to fit graphics precisely to walls, glass, and building exteriors
• Retouch and composite high-resolution imagery that holds up at full scale.
• Build realistic mockups showing how finished graphics will look installed in the space
• Prep and proof files to production specs — correct color (CMYK / ICC profiles), bleeds, dimensions, and setup
• Translate rough briefs and client brand guidelines into polished, installable designs
• Manage multiple projects and hit install deadlines
• Maintain communication throughout the job cycle with the Production Manager
• Create detailed installer instructions
• Report scope discrepancies to project management and estimating

Required skills:

• 3+ years in production or large-format / environmental graphic design
• Expert Adobe Creative Suite — Photoshop (retouching/compositing), Illustrator (vector/production), InDesign
• Wide/grand-format file prep: scaling, tiling, bleeds, and color management
• Solid pre-press and print-production background
• Precision working from dimensions, drawings, and site specs
• Strong typography, layout, and composition; clean file organization; clear communication

Preferred:

• Environmental/architectural graphics, signage, or building-wrap experience
• Space visualization (3D renders or Photoshop compositing)
• CorelDraw
• Knowledge of substrates and install constraints.
