Job Description

As a Security Guard Vehicle Patrol Driver in Rochester, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates. This driving role offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related needs with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards; report observations and incidents according to site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and other assigned security-related duties to help maintain an orderly retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Preferred candidates are comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
