About the Role
As an Account Manager Latin America, you will manage and grow a portfolio of strategic customer accounts across the region. You will partner with customers to understand their priorities, strengthen long-term relationships, and identify opportunities to expand the value they receive from ICIS solutions. This role combines account management, business development, and customer engagement to drive retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients through regular communication, business reviews, and strategic meetings.
- Cultivating customer connections by building compelling, lasting relationships by engaging with key decision-makers, fostering trust, and ensuring loyalty.
- Proactively understand customer objectives, workflows, and business challenges to deliver ongoing value through a consultative approach.
- Enhance customer engagement through phone, email, social media, video conferences, onsite meetings, and monthly travel to client locations.
- Identifying, developing, and closing new sales opportunities within assigned customer accounts.
- Achieve retention and revenue targets by expanding customer usage, increasing account spend, and supporting contract renewals.
- Conduct regular status, performance, and strategy discussions with senior customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Partner closely with Business Development Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure customer success and maximize commercial outcomes.
- Manage a domestic or regional territory by developing and executing effective account plans aligned with customer and business objectives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in account management, customer retention, and revenue growth within a B2B sales environment.
- Fluent English.
- Willing to go to the office two to three times a week
- Proven track record of managing and growing strategic customer relationships while consistently achieving commercial targets.
- Be inquisitive and unafraid to question the status quo, dedicated to improving customer outcomes.
- Build world-class customer experiences, coupled with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Coachable, adaptable, and open to learning structured sales methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Working effectively under pressure and being available for international travel.
- Have experience working with CRM systems, including Salesforce.com.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and results-oriented, with a high-performance mindset and strong sense of ownership.
