We’re looking for an experienced Automation Lead to own the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of workflow automation solutions using Camunda. This role will lead the translation of business processes into scalable, maintainable BPMN workflows and orchestration patterns that connect people, systems, APIs, and services across the organisation.
The successful applicant will bring strong hands-on experience with Camunda, BPMN process modelling, workflow orchestration, and backend engineering.
They will be confident working with .NET, C#, REST APIs, event-driven integrations, Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and modern engineering practices. They will also provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, guide solution design, and work closely with stakeholders to deliver automation outcomes that are reliable, observable, and aligned to business priorities.
Ideally you will have:
Strong hands-on experience with Camunda, BPMN 2.0, process orchestration, and workflow automation.
Ability to lead technical design, guide engineering teams, and make pragmatic delivery decisions.
Several years of experience in backend software engineering, workflow automation, or process orchestration roles.
Understanding of Azure services, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and production support practices.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex processes and deliver balanced solutions.
Excellent communication skills and confidence working with technical and business stakeholders.
A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on reliability, observability, maintainability, and business value.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
