ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Business Analyst is the connective tissue between business stakeholders and technical teams within the AI Accelerator. Sitting at the intersection of business need, workflow, and AI capability, this role translates business challenges into well-defined, high-value use cases — and ensures the resulting solutions fit naturally into how people actually work.
Primarily a business-translation role, it also brings a strong workflow and user-experience lens, partnering closely with design, data science, and engineering so that AI solutions are not only aligned to strategy but intuitive, adopted, and impactful across the US Commercial Organization.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Use Case Definition & Prioritization
- Identify high-value business problems that can be addressed through AI, automation, or advanced analytics.
- Translate business objectives into clear, actionable use cases with measurable outcomes.
- Prioritize use cases based on strategic impact, feasibility, and alignment with organizational goals.
Stakeholder Engagement & Facilitation
- Act as a liaison between business units (e.g., Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access) and technical teams (e.g., Data Science, Engineering, Design).
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and co-creation sessions to gather insight and define solution requirements.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate outcomes clearly and effectively.
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
- Develop business requirement documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria for AI and digital solutions.
- Partner with UI/UX, QA, and Solutions Architecture teams so business needs are reflected in design and functionality.
- Maintain traceability between business goals, technical implementation, and performance metrics.
Workflow Analysis & Experience Alignment
- Map end-to-end user workflows across commercial, clinical, and operational domains to surface friction and opportunity.
- Contribute a user-experience and workflow perspective to solution design, advocating for intuitive, accessible outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce friction through intelligent automation and thoughtful design.
Value Realization & Impact Measurement
- Define success metrics and KPIs for initiatives, ensuring alignment with business outcomes.
- Monitor solution performance post-deployment and support continuous improvement.
- Communicate impact and ROI to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Adoption & Change Support
- Support change-management and adoption efforts across business units.
- Help develop training materials, onboarding guides, and communication plans that drive user engagement.
- Address feedback and resistance through iterative design and stakeholder collaboration.
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Health, Design/HCI, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in business analysis, strategy, digital transformation, or product/experience roles — preferably in healthcare or life sciences.
- Demonstrated experience translating business needs into technical or product requirements, ideally in partnership with data, analytics, or digital teams.
- Working knowledge of healthcare or commercial workflows and how users interact with digital tools.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Experience with AI/ML, advanced analytics, or automation solutions in a regulated environment.
- Familiarity with UX and workflow methods — journey mapping, usability testing, human-centered design — and tools such as Figma.
- Understanding of oncology workflows and/or healthcare regulations and data privacy (e.g., HIPAA).
- Experience with agile delivery and cross-functional product teams.
- Change-management or adoption experience.
PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to synthesize ambiguous, incomplete inputs into structured requirements and perform complex analysis.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Occasional travel (~10%) for stakeholder workshops, design sessions, and cross-site collaboration.

Business units (Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access); Data Science & Engineering; UI/UX & Design; Product / Solutions Architecture; and senior leadership across the US Commercial Organization.
