Description
HCT seeks a talented nursing professional to serve as a Clinical Nurse Educator for a 200+ bed hospital in California.
The key areas of focus for this Educator are:
- Curriculum development.
- Providing new hire orientation and precepting new nursing graduates.
- Conducting mock code blues.
- Sustaining annual clinical competencies.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Educator experience in clinical education and staff professional development within the past two years. In addition, experience in acute care nursing practice such as Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Oncology.
- License: A valid, current, full and unrestricted Professional Nursing License to practice nursing in the state of California Required.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, OCN certification, EKG certification.
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office suite; must be computer savvy.
- EMR: EPIC experience required.
Expenses covered while on assignment include housing, airfare, and transportation.
Pay Range: $156,000 - $165,000 annually, depending on experience, education, and location.
