Role : Network Engineer – Preventive Maintenance
Reporting to : Team Leader – Preventive Maintenance
Function Name : Preventive Maintenance
Purpose of the Role:
The Network Engineer - Preventive Maintenance plays a vital role in ensuring network reliability and customer satisfaction by performing proactive maintenance activities. This role focuses on preventing service disruptions, improving network infrastructure, and resolving potential issues before they impact customers.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of network infrastructure, including fiber optic cables, equipment, and connections.
Identify and resolve potential network issues to prevent service disruptions and customer complaints.
Perform proactive rehabilitation activities to improve network performance and stability.
Achieve targets for Post Rehab AX (Activation) FR% (First-Time Resolution percentage) and Post Rehab FR%.
Maintain high levels of productivity in all preventive maintenance tasks.
Ensure compliance with audit requirements and minimize non-compliance (NC) instances.
Contribute to the achievement of team-level KPIs for PM (Preventive Maintenance) productivity.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in all field activities.
Report any safety hazards or concerns to the Team Leader.
Must have:
Graduate/Diploma/ITI holder in any discipline
Hardware & Networking, MCSE and CCNA preferred
Diploma/ITI in Telecommunications or a related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in network maintenance and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with fiber optic cables, splicing, and testing.
Knowledge of network infrastructure and equipment.
