- Data Stewardship: Act as the primary gatekeeper for expansion data quality, ensuring complex transactional data streams (e.g., fintech/payment processing and insurance claims data) and product event logs map accurately to our data warehouse.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in data analysis, with a heavy emphasis on monetization analytics, pricing/packaging strategy, financial technology (Fintech) metrics, or product-led growth (PLG) in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Modern Technical Stack: Expert-level SQL and Python skills, with extensive hands-on experience building modular transformations using Snowflake and DBT.
- Product & Transactional Data Savvy: Deep experience using Mixpanel to study behavioral user cohorts and conversion funnels, combined with a strong understanding of usage-based or transactional business models.
- Developer-Lite Mindset: Comfortable using Git/GitHub and modern AI-coding environments (e.g., Cursor) to write production-adjacent Python code and automate complex analytical data pipelines.
- AI Proficiency: You are an early adopter of AI tools with experience leveraging LLMs and automation platforms to dramatically accelerate your analytical throughput.
- Experimental & Financial Rigor: Strong background in experimental design, causal inference models, and evaluating the long-term impact of changes on LTV, gross margin, and retention.
