The Opportunity

As a Silicon Valley - DAT - Intern, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will support teams and participate in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. Within our Assurance practice, you will be part of a team that provides independent and objective assessments, upholding transparency, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role offers a unique chance to observe and contribute to the success of our clients by enhancing trust and confidence in financial and non-financial information.

As an Intern, you will support teams by performing basic tasks and conducting research while observing professional work environments. You will have the opportunity to learn and apply professional and technical standards, uphold the Firm's code of conduct, and develop your personal brand. In this role at PwC, you will be encouraged to ask questions, take initiative, and produce quality work that adds value for our clients and contributes to our team’s success. This is an entry-level position that emphasizes gaining exposure and learning new skills, setting the foundation for a rewarding career in the field of digital assurance.

Responsibilities

- Supporting audit teams in conducting independent evaluations of financial reporting and decision-making processes
- Participating in the application of auditing methodologies to uphold transparency, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies
- Assisting in the development and deployment of cloud engineering solutions to enhance audit processes
- Engaging in basic tasks and research to contribute to the team's success and client support
- Applying a learning mindset to understand and implement compliance and governance protocols
- Gathering information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns in financial data
- Collaborating with team members to uphold ethical standards and promote responsible behavior within the organization

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
