Role summary:The (USA) Manager, Site Merchandising, leads the design and execution of site strategies to optimize category experiences, digital merchandising, and traffic-driving initiatives. This role leverages customer analytics and market research to inform site enhancements and collaborates cross-functionally to influence business decisions. The manager oversees emerging business launches, site structure, and reporting, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Strong communication and strategic partnership skills are essential to effectively present insights and recommendations. The Site Merchandising Services team enhances the shopping experience for millions by enabling customers to find what they need efficiently on walmart.com. Focused on customer shopping behaviors, the team measures success through completed shopping missions and improved outcomes. Positioned at the intersection of technology, data, and customer experience, the team owns end-to-end solutions including onboarding emerging businesses, reducing friction, powering experimentation, developing in-store digital tools, and optimizing SEO and taxonomy. This collaborative team drives strategic initiatives that connect online and physical retail environments to deliver measurable business and customer value.
What you'll do:
- Build and optimize site merchandising strategies for assigned departments by developing go-to-market plans, shaping traffic, and driving iterative testing.
- Drive customer engagement through navigation strategies and collaboration with marketing partners.
- Analyze customer behavior and market data to recommend site changes and improve performance.
- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends.
- Manage product discovery and roadmap activities to address customer needs and enhance site tools.
- Coordinate campaign launches and evaluate promotional effectiveness using data-driven insights.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in site merchandising, including site navigation, visual merchandising, and use of internal tools such as Tempo and Tango.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage customer analytics and market research to inform site and category strategies.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present clear, data-driven recommendations.
- Experience in product management, campaign planning, and execution with a focus on driving customer engagement and traffic.
- Ability to develop strategic partnerships and manage stakeholder relationships to support business objectives.
- Proficiency in data discovery tools and storytelling through insights to guide decision-making.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
