Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
Location: Northern Colorado (Thornton, Longmont, Fort Collins)
Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available
United Vein & Vascular Centers is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team in Northern Colorado. We offer flexible scheduling and multiple clinic location options based on provider availability and business needs.
Please note: All candidates, including those seeking part-time opportunities, must be available to complete the required training program.
Practice Locations & Schedule Options
Full-Time Opportunities
Option 1: Longmont & Thornton
- Primarily based in Longmont and Thornton
- Occasional coverage in Fort Collins (typically no more than twice monthly)
Option 2: All Three Clinics
- Approximately 2 days per week in Longmont
- 2 days per week in Thornton
- 1 day per week in Fort Collins
Part-Time Opportunities
Option 1: Fort Collins
- 1 to 2 days per week
Option 2: Longmont & Thornton
- 3 to 4 days per week across both clinics
Specific clinic assignments and workdays will be determined in collaboration with the hiring team. Candidates are encouraged to share their location preferences and weekly availability.
Clinic Hours
- Monday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Tuesday, Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Overview
This is a 100% outpatient, office-based, non-procedural role focused on consultation, evaluation, and ongoing management of patients with vascular disease. Providers will care for patients with conditions including:
- Venous insufficiency
- Peripheral arterial disease (PAD)
- Pelvic congestion syndrome
- Other vascular disorders
The APP will work closely with our vascular physicians while practicing independently within their scope once fully trained. Previous vascular, vein, or wound care experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with vascular conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment and care plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Address patient questions, follow-up concerns, and urgent clinical needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Compensation & Benefits
- $140,000 - $180,000 annual compensation package

Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an NP or PA in an inpatient, outpatient, or surgical setting
- Vascular experience required
- Procedural experience preferred but not required
Education & Licensure
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Active Colorado NP or PA license (or ability to obtain)
- National certification:
- NP: AANP or ANCC
- PA: NCCPA
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
