The role combines energy-market and ETRM domain knowledge with structured consulting and transformation delivery. You will assess current-state capabilities, shape target-state architectures and roadmaps, support ETRM needs assessment and selection, provide implementation advisory, and establish effective transformation governance.
In this role, you'll lead multidisciplinary teams to help energy and commodity trading organizations solve complex business and technology challenges, shaping scalable solutions across trading, risk, operations, data, and technology. You Bring:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, IT, Computer Science, technology, engineering, finance, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience will also be considered
3-7 years of relevant experience in systems selection advisory, business transformation, implementation program management, business architecture build-out in commodity-trading operations or technology
Consulting Skills
Strong consulting, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to convert complex business and technical challenges into practical, scalable solutions
Experience assessing current-state capabilities, identifying business needs, and defining target-state strategy, business architecture, operating models, and transformation roadmaps
Ability to build trusted client relationships, maintain momentum in complex delivery environments, respect confidentiality, and travel as required
Functional Knowledge
A strong understanding of the end-to-end energy and commodity trading lifecycle across front, middle, and back office
Experience across one or more commodities, such as gas, power, LNG, crude, refined products, renewables, environmental products, agriculture, or metals
Experience supporting ETRM needs assessments, platform selections, vendor evaluations, implementation advisory, upgrade or migration assessments, or optimization initiatives
Strong knowledge & prior experience in energy markets, policy, and regulatory requirements, and their implications for trading processes, controls, data, and systems
Experience designing end-to-end business processes, control frameworks, roles and responsibilities, decision rights, and operating procedures
Data and SQL literacy, including the ability to interrogate datasets, analyse issues, perform reconciliations, and translate findings into business insights
Confident and engaging communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to contribute to workshops, work independently, challenge requirements constructively, and deliver high-quality work with strong attention to detail
Candidates with recognized risk and Energy-market certifications such as FRM, SCR, CFA or equivalent credentials will be viewed favourably, particularly where they complement strong market risk, valuation, trading, or Energy-transition experience.

Application Knowledge
Deep implementation expertise in at least one leading ETRM platform, with Openlink Endur or similar ETRM systems strongly preferred
Exposure to additional platforms such as ENTRADE, Fusion or Beacon would be good to have.
Technical Skills
Ability to appreciate solution development concepts/patterns/design principles using Java, C#, Python, or related technologies, along with working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and ETRM data models
Candidates with exposure to modern cloud-enabled technology ecosystems and relevant certifications such as Microsoft AZ-900/AZ-204, AWS Cloud Practitioner/Developer Associate, or equivalent Azure, AWS, or GCP credentials will be viewed favourably.
Understanding of APIs, interfaces, batch processing, data migration, reporting, and ETRM configuration, customization, and extension frameworks
Experience working in Agile, hybrid, or traditional delivery practices.
Strong understanding of modern application and integration architectures, including layered/three-tier architecture, microservices, and event-driven architecture, along with source control, CI/CD, automated testing, and contemporary software-delivery practices.
