Headwaters Ice Arena Attendant – Seasonal (Riverfront) 15–30 hours/week | Evenings, weekends, and holidays required

What You'll Do
Help create a safe, fun, and welcoming ice-skating environment at the Headwaters Ice Arena. You'll support daily rink operations, assist guests, and help keep programs and events running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests, provide information, and deliver high-quality customer service
- Collect admission fees, handle cash, and work concessions as assigned
- Enforce facility rules and monitor skate sessions and building use
- Assist with programs, events, skate rentals, and light facility cleaning
- Support inventory tracking, reporting, and general rink operations
What You Bring – Education & Experience
- At least 16 years of age (18+ for opening/closing facility, skate sharpening and driving Zamboni)
- One to three months of related experience or equivalent education/experience
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
Preferred Certifications
- First Aid and CPR certification (American Heart Association required within two weeks of hire)
- Valid Indiana Driver's License (required if operating a City vehicle)
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Ability to handle cash and follow City policies and procedures
- Comfort assisting the public in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
- Ability to assist with skate rentals, inventory, and basic facility operations
- Willingness to learn skate sharpening (18+ only)
- Ability or willingness to learn how to drive a Zamboni (18+ only)
