Engineering Supervisor / Assistant Manager – Property & Facilities ManagementJob Description Summary
Join Cushman & Wakefield's Property & Facilities Management team to provide engineering and technical support across a diverse portfolio of managed properties in Indonesia. Based at the Jakarta Head Office, this role will support engineering governance, technical standards, asset performance, compliance, and complex engineering matters across commercial/office, residential, retail, mixed-use, and other managed properties.This is an opportunity for an experienced building engineering professional to broaden their exposure beyond a single property and develop toward a larger technical leadership role within the Property & Facilities Management platform.
Job Description
About the Role:
Support engineering governance and technical standards across the property portfolio, including engineering policies, SOPs, preventive maintenance practices, statutory requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct regular engineering audits, property inspections, and compliance reviews, identifying technical risks, maintenance gaps, and improvement opportunities while supporting property teams in implementing appropriate corrective actions.
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to on-site engineering and property management teams on MEP systems, building services, equipment performance, maintenance strategies, and complex operational issues.
Support asset lifecycle planning and technical assessments, including equipment condition reviews, replacement planning, CAPEX requirements, technical recommendations, and initiatives to improve asset reliability and operational efficiency.
Monitor and consolidate engineering performance across managed properties through KPIs, technical and operational reports, compliance tracking, and portfolio-level analysis, while collaborating with property teams, management, vendors, and other stakeholders across Indonesia.
About You:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in building engineering, Facilities Management, Property Management, or a related technical environment, ideally supporting commercial buildings, office towers, residential developments, retail, mixed-use, or other complex properties.
Strong technical understanding of MEP and building services systems, preventive and corrective maintenance, asset management, engineering compliance, and building operations, with the ability to assess technical issues and recommend practical solutions.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities, with demonstrated potential to guide property engineering teams, influence technical standards, and develop into broader engineering leadership responsibilities.
Proactive, structured, and comfortable working across multiple properties, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the flexibility to travel to managed sites as required.
