About the Role:
We’re looking for a Storeperson - Dispatch to join our team at our Smithfield Distribution Centre. You’ll ensure smooth daily operations, efficient order picking and packing, and timely dispatch while promoting safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Loading and unloading containers and IBT cages where required.
Label incoming goods correctly using the labels supplied.
Quality check parts as per the APG process documentation
Locate and put away parts in the correct location.
Check off goods for correct quantity and part number against documents supplied. Any variations found are to be noted on the documents.
Pick parts accurately and efficiently from the picking slips (or invoice) supplied.
Adhere to warehousing, safety, and shipping legislation, including Dangerous Goods protocols.
What You Bring:
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Commitment to safety and team development.
A good understanding of ERP-type processes.
Ability to work within a rapidly changing and diverse environment.
Manual handling experience with the ability to lift up to 15 kgs.
Forklift Licence (desirable).
