A Day in the Life

The Virtual Event Partner acts as a key collaborator to event requestors, owning the end-to-end execution of virtual education events. This role requires a strong combination of project management, technical expertise, and client-facing communication skills to design, implement, and deliver engaging live events.

The Virtual Event Partner ensures that each event is executed to a high standard, leveraging platforms such as Zoom and the Medtronic Academy LMS, while providing expert guidance and operational excellence throughout the event lifecycle.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Partner closely with event requestors to understand objectives, audience needs, and desired outcomes 
• Translate requirements into effective virtual event solutions and delivery plans 
• Own the full lifecycle of live virtual events, including planning, setup, rehearsal, execution, and post-event follow-up 
• Configure and manage events in delivery platforms (e.g., Zoom, LMS platforms), including advanced features such as breakout rooms, polls, Q&A, and engagement tools 
• Lead and moderate live sessions, ensuring smooth technical execution and high-quality participant experience 
• Provide real-time troubleshooting and technical support during live events 
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Onsite AV teams, LMS, marketing, content, etc.) to ensure seamless delivery 

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience delivering live virtual events or webinars 
• Hands-on experience with platforms such as Zoom (or similar) and Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Totara 
• Proven experience managing live event operations, including rehearsals and real-time troubleshooting 
• Experience working directly with stakeholders or clients in a consultative/partnering role 
• Strong customer and stakeholder focus, with the ability to build trust and credibility 
• High level of ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivery excellence

Pay range / Rango salarial / Intervalo salarial /Fascia retributiva / Tranche de salaire / Gehaltsband / Salaribereik:  Czechia: 486,400.00 CZK - 729,600.00 CZK | Poland: 84,800.00 PLN - 127,200.00 PLN | 

 

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
